The Lakeland Education Foundation has been created to support educational programs for both the students and staff of the Lakeland School District. It is organized as a broad-based non-profit educational and charitable institution designed to secure and distribute contributions from individuals, businesses, government agencies or other sources for the benefit of the students in the Lakeland School District. These funds will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence, and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.
In 2009, the Foundation, in conjunction with Lakeland High School and Timberlake High School, established an Alumni Association for high school graduates. The Alumni Association provides reunion information, Alumni Directories, and an opportunity for alumni to stay involved. Currently, the Lakeland Education Foundation is working to update alumni and retirees's names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses to notify everyone of upcoming events and we need your help!
